Birthday & Celebration Cakes Richmond

Planning a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion in Richmond? We make whole cakes entirely from scratch in our kitchen at 16 Hill Rise — baked to order, collected in person, and made to be remembered.

We don’t do off-the-shelf celebration cakes. Every cake is made specifically for you, using the same care and the same recipes as everything else we do.

What We Offer

Our celebration cakes are sponge cakes, built to your specification. Here’s what you can choose:

Size

  • 8–10 servings — ideal for an intimate gathering or family dinner
  • 14–16 servings — perfect for a birthday party or larger table
  • 20–24 servings — great for a big celebration or event

Sponge

  • Vanilla — light, classic, and crowd-pleasing
  • Chocolate — rich and indulgent
  • Red Velvet — striking deep red with a subtle cocoa flavour

Cream Inside

  • Cream cheese — light, slightly tangy, not too sweet
  • Milk chocolate — smooth and sweet
  • Dark chocolate — rich and intense
  • White chocolate — sweet and creamy

Outside Colour

The exterior is a smooth cream finish — let us know which colour you’d like:

Ivory Warm white — classic and elegant
Blush Pink Soft and romantic
Dusty Rose Warm, muted pink — earthy and sophisticated
Sage Green Soft, natural green — understated and fresh
Sky Blue Light and airy
Lavender Soft purple — dreamy and delicate
Champagne Warm golden tone — luxurious and celebratory
Black Bold and dramatic
Burgundy Deep, rich red — elegant and striking
Terracotta Warm, earthy orange-brown

How to Order

Email us at hello@wolkcakes.co.uk with the following details and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours:

  1. Your name
  2. Collection date — we need a minimum of 3 working days’ notice
  3. Size — number of servings
  4. Sponge — vanilla, chocolate, or red velvet
  5. Cream inside — cream cheese, milk / dark / white chocolate
  6. Outside colour — choose from the list above or describe your own
  7. Fillings — leave blank if none
  8. On top — leave blank if none
  9. Extras — message text if adding one, candles yes/no
  10. Any reference photos — helpful but not required

We’ll confirm your order, agree the price, and take payment closer to the collection date.

  • Minimum notice: 3 working days for all celebration cake orders
  • Collection only from our café at 16 Hill Rise, Richmond TW10 6UA
  • Open: Monday – Sunday, 07:30am – 5:30pm
  • Allergens: all cakes contain milk, eggs, and wheat (gluten), made in a kitchen handling nuts — see our Allergen Information page
